Back at Advent, anticipating the birth, we knew this was coming. This Holy Week is not our first rodeo.
As this Lenten season ends, and I wonder what it means to walk to the cross with Jesus, it seems like it's vulnerability to vulnerability all the way through. From the infant's birth in a stable to the innocent lamb brought to slaughter, if Christ came to earth to show us how to be human, it must have something to do with laying down our privilege, our power, our defensiveness, our anger, and our weapons.
