My feet reach my slippers in the morning and cry. I tell them, " Suck it up! Look what Jesus endured. You can at least make it through the morning."
It's not easy being young and it's defintinely not easy being old. But we endure. We move on. We do what is necessary. We survive.
Mortality, an interesting word. We live, we suffer, we experience joy and then we die. Is it worth the struggle?
We have no choice. It's what we do as humans.
But feet, that's another story. They will be happy when I'm laid to rest and they no longer carry my burdens, my callouses, my bunions or my plantar fascitis.
One foot in the grave and another on a bannana peel. Ah. Foot heaven at last..Who knows about the rest.
